The Mongol Rally, which begins in the Europe and ends in Ulan-Ude (Russia), is an annual charity event organized by The Adventurists where hundreds of teams participate in a mad dash across the continents and chaos ensues along the way.
The 2018 rally begins on July 16th and each team has approximately 8 weeks to get to the finish line although how quickly each team does it is up to them.
There is no set route, it has to be done in a crappy little car or motorbike, you have to raise £1000 for charity, and you are left to your own wits to survive once you leave the comforts of Europe.
It's dirty, chaotic, wild, and fast-paced but it's one hell of an adventure.

Once a chemical engineer who became a soldier, this free spirit is looking to hang up his boots and hit the road in the biggest possible way!
Hailing from Toronto, Canada, the last few years witnessed a relocation to Germany before settling in his new adopted home of the UK where having established a European base, travelled to over 50 countries.
Looking for the next big thing in life, he has grandiose visions of crossing the Mongol steeps and having life's answers appear before him!
the CAUSE
Aside of the heap of broken down vehicles and all the wackies that go along with it, The Mongol Rally is a charity event.
Each team is required to raise a minimum of £1000 because if we're going to go on a jolly half way around the world, then we might as well do some good while at it!
